Coaching

What would you like to achieve?

Would you like to find out what you are capable of achieving?

Are you clear about your goals?

What are the stories you tell yourself – where did they originate from and are they relevant and helpful to achieve your goals?

Let me be your sounding board – you may surprise yourself when you see yourself through a new lens. As your coaching partner I will be your active and present champion; you will have space to reflect and think through your motivations and clarify your goals. Targeted conversations aim to bring awareness of choices. My approach is eclectic - sessions are tailored around your goals and your best route to achieving them. I will draw from a rich array of resources to help bring full awareness to where you are and where you want to be.

What is important to you?

What is needed to support that?

Are your goals aligned with your values and ethics?

Crucially we examine what influences, and perhaps, what interferes with a commitment to make changes. Maybe questions arise around unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. Use of language can also impact.

What stories, unhelpful habits and limitations hold you back and what effect does this have on capabilities, ambitions, identity, goals and a sense of being vibrantly and wholly alive?

Coaching is always about future goals and action orientated. Our work may be challenging, at times sitting on the edge of comfort – important in the process of change.

Pamela Richarde, past president of ICF and my tutor, holds that a Professional Coach need not be banker to coach a banker!

I coach the person and not the job title.

Another aspect of our work together, may be to incorporate further skills, which effect the change you want. Drawing from my extensive background in psychology, organisational stress management and human potential & growth, we work to enhance the actions you require for success eg:

  • MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL RESILIENCE. Read more
  • SUCCESSFUL COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Read more
  • Understanding the value of assertiveness.
  • Enhancing wellbeing.
  • Role play.
  • Aspects of Mindfulness.
  • etc ...

In short we use whatever tools best serve your needs.
